Dr Tetsuya Ido is our foreign research partner from National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT, Japan).

NICT will be the sensor network station with one optical lattice Sr atomic clock and one Ca + single-ion optical atomic clock. The partner also has the experience of very-long-baseline interferometry technique which will be implemented in cross-correlations between intercontinentally dispersed sensors. One of castle group members, Dr Piotr Morzyński, is already visiting the group of Dr. Tetsuya Ido.
