Postdoc position available at Theme 3 of “A next-generation worldwide quantum sensor network with optical atomic clocks”

We invites applications for a three-year postdoctoral position in experimental or theoretical studies of dark matter detection with optical atomic clocks and in in theoretical/observational inhomogeneous cosmology. The candidate can apply to

Desired skills and experience

  • required: a doctorate in cosmology, astrophysics or a closely related field,
  • required: a growing record of publications in observational and/or numerical relativistic cosmology,
  •  required: scientific software (C, fortran, autotools, git) development experience,
  • preferred: research experience in one of the following areas:
    • inhomogeneous cosmology simulations with emerging average scalar curvature,
    • numerical modelling of dark-matter dominated galaxy formation.
