The biennial LACONA conference gathers together researchers, conservators and conservation scientists, companies, architects, decision-makers and experts in laser-based techniques for the conservation of cultural heritage to share their latest projects and experiences. Accounts (both case studies and scientific reports) devoted to applications of coherent light in the restoration and examination of works of art and cultural heritage monuments are welcomed. The conference was preceded by a 1 day workshop devoted to practical aspects of the use of lasers in conservation/restoration
Next Lacona 12 Conference was held in Paris in September 2018 and the next one will be held in Florence in 2021. See the conference websites for details.
