Materials for publication should be submitted to the Editorial Office:
Open Systems & Information Dynamics or to one of the members of the Editorial Board. Proofs and related correspondence as well as address changes should be send to the Editorial Office. Directions for authors Open Systems & Information Dynamics encourages the submission of papers in LaTeX using a provisional OSID style. However, papers submitted in plain TeX, AmsTeX, RevTeX, etc. are also accepted. The use of nonincluded `exotic’ style files or nonstandard fonts should be avoided. It is advisable that the source file be accompanied by a .ps or .pdf file or a hardcopy (or a reference to an electronic archive) in case anything needs to be checked. The maximum length should be 800 lines of 11 point type of length 14 cm. (This amounts to 20 pages of usual TeX magstep 1 format.) An abstract not exceeding 200 words is required. Figures: All graphs and diagrams should be referred to as `Figure' in the text and, if relevant, a detailed caption should be provided for each figure. The approximate required location of figures and tables should be indicated in the text. The figures themselves should be supplied as separate .eps files or as good quality prints on separate sheets of paper. References will appear numbered within square brackets in the text, and listed accordingly at the end of the article (e.g. using standard `\cite{}’ and `\bibitem{}’ LaTeX commands). The references should be arranged alphabetically by author’s name. A journal reference should comprise author’s name(s) and initials, AMS abbreviated title of a journal, volume number, year of publication, and the initial page number, e.g.:
