Symposium "Interactions"

28/29th November 2025 •Toruń, Institute of Physics

About the Meeting

Initiated by Michał Tomza and Piotr Żuchowski, this series of meetings began in 2019 in Warsaw. After the successful launch, the next edition was held in 2021 during the challenging times of the COVID-19 outbreak, and despite the circumstances it became one of the most memorable events. Following another edition in 2023, we are now preparing the upcoming meeting in the present year.

The meeting brings together a community centered on topics at the interface of quantum chemistry and AMO theoretical physics, with a particular focus on molecular interactions and their implications for collisions, dynamics, and spectroscopy.

A hallmark of the series is its strong emphasis on the participation of junior scientists — PhD students and postdoctoral researchers. The primary goal is to foster networking, strengthen collaborations, and raise awareness of ongoing research in Poland, while warmly welcoming participants from abroad. Social event in the evening is sponsored by the Centre of Excellence "Astrophysics and Astrochemistry" (IDUB programme). Poster session is also planned. Event is free of charge!

This year’s program will feature four thematic sessions:

However, we are open to other ideas, suggestions, and discussions related to the meeting. Please feel free to get in touch at:
