Bio

My current research interesets are in the areas of body sensor networks, IoT and exploratory data mining. I'm working mainly on accelerometry for usage in pedestrian navigation (dead reckoning) and also I'm trying to apply those results in neurocognitive field (gait anaysis). Check out the website of Neurocognitive Laboratory [link]

Projects

ICRA
Prototype decision support system for Firefighter's Commander at the incident place. I'm managing (very) small group of researchers dedicated to work on sensory data aquisition using body sensor networks. Mostly we are working on kinematic data for the task of Human Activity Recognition and inertial dead-reckoning. Just checkout our video from Data Mining competition [link] and early prototype of PDR [link].

SYNAT
Information Retrieval system for scientific publication. My responsibilities were implementing a search result clustering and developing and maintatinig no-sql backbone for document processing.

ODRA
I've implemented a transport layer for experimental object-oriented database jOdra. The DAO mechanisms was reimplemented in network p2p architecture.
