Moments of consciousness
    and moments of sleep,
heads full of confusion
    and insights quite deep.

Where are we all going
    nobody quite knows,
but one thing is certain
    that knowledge transforms.

Is quantum mechanics
    a magical solution?
Or should we look closer
    at the brain constitution?

And going along
    with the process itself
We ask ourselves questions
    what we don't understand?

And digging still deeper
    what does it all mean?
And how love and science
    resonates within?

We are left with questions
    to ponder upon,
what have we accomplished
    if anything at all?
