Title: Complex systems and information theory
Objective: define new information measure, use it
to solve some problems in complex systems theory
Participants: W. Duch, Norbert Jankowski
Time: since 1994, but low priority
Results: information measure based on minial graphs
defined, algorith to convert arbitrary trees to minimal graphs found, program
written by Norbert; some technical raports written and talks given.
Open problems: applications in computational linguistics,
protein analysis and genetics needed. Although this project is not abandoined
it is in limbo at the moment.
